Dead on the ground
I am making a sound
I am too proud to drown
Too proud to drown
As long as I stand
I will take your hand
I will stand with my band
Stand with my band
There’s nowhere to go
But on down the road
Let’s get on with the show
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on with the show
Waiting too long
But there’s no right or wrong
Only where I belong
Where I belong
There’ll come a day
When we all feel the same
And we live for the game
Live for the game
There’s nowhere to go
But on down the road
Let’s get on with the show
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on with the show
There’s nowhere to go
But on down the road
Let’s get on with the show
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on with the show
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on with the show
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on with the show
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on with the show
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on
Let’s get on let’s get on

About the Song
Lindsey Buckingham: “On with the Show”… Well, you see, I had written that before we had heard that Christine wanted to rejoin Fleetwood Mac. And I think it was a sort of calls to arms for everyone to remember that there is a point of unity that was still an important thing in the band Fleetwood Mac.
The timing of that was sort of eerie because Christine…she came back and ended up hearing that song and just fell in love with it, and understood it obviously. And in a strange way, even though I had written it before my knowledge of her coming back, it took on an enhanced meaning because here was Christine McVie rejoining the band and that was like a really wonderful, circular, meaningful thing to have happened and very appropriate for this point in the band’s career. We had gone in the studio before the last Fleetwood Mac tour to begin this duet album. The meaning became even broader than let’s get on with the tour; it became let’s get on with everything we’ve got left to do.
